Apple has been touting their new and shiny Augmented Reality, ARkit everywhere. Google has Project Tango and ARCore up its sleeves and Microsoft is closing the real and non-real gap fast with Hololens. Then again in another spectrum we have Facebook Oculus Rift and Vive trying to dominate the Virtual Reality scenario. Each of them, promising a new world and showing a steep learning curve for developers. Not to mention the closed eco-system of their own. What we need is an open platform where developers can mash up best of both worlds, create their mixed reality and in a way that is device agnostic in approach and can be accessible throughout different devices, primarily all phones. If you want to learn more, join me for a healthy dose of Augmented Reality, animation and virtual pokemons which we use to showcase the power of browser and web armed with Aframe, arjs and making a stand how right now we can use Web to achieve mixed reality and built applications on them as web developers. Applications that are immediately available to everyone having internet and just a capable phone
